A note from Celaena

Weaving worlds of fantasy and romance was a dream I never expected to come true. Switching gears to dark sapphic romance was a homecoming. I never envisioned my life would be where it is now after debuting a new version of myself—Celaena. I thought becoming an author was a fantasy in itself, one I would never grace the pages of.
So, I wrote the pages myself.The support I have received the last few years changed my life. Changed my very soul, and I could never express my gratitude effectively. Kyleigh became my mask, my character, while Celaena became me. Became who I am to my very core and sharing that with a group of people who embraced me with open arms, is all I could ever want.
Xyla and Raven are a culmination of my desires, dreams, and—if you know me—my intrusive thoughts. I took my favorite things, including my fiancé, and turned them into an action-packed love story filled with betrayal and a little political commentary that is very prevalent to today’s climate.
I only hope that as you read these words, you feel something. I hope that you find something, or even yourself, because there is a heroine in all of us just waiting to see the light.
I love each and every single person who has followed me this far, or who are new to my journey, because without you, Celaena is nothing.
